“Whoo hoo!!!” I bounced up so high on the trampoline. When I came back down, I sprained my
ankle. “Youch,” I whimpered. I sobbed, and I snivelled and I shrieked and
I screeched and screamed, and most of all I bellowed and blubbered. But still nobody came. I kept on going, and then finally Mum came
running. “What’s the matter, darling?”
Mum murmured. “I sprained my ankle,” I
sobbed. “Oh, you poor button,” Mum said. So she gave me an ice pack and a HUMUNGOUS
hug. When I felt better, I went to bound
on the trampoline.
