MY FAVOURITE PLACE - By Lucy
In Tapu Bay, Granny and Foxy have a big house. There's a big beach by Granny's house, so sometimes it is very LOUD!!! The water smells very salty when you go near it. My family and I came to Tapu Bay in the holidays and did heaps of things, but I loved going to the beach and going on the biscuit the most. Sometimes on the biscuit we were pulled by the little boat, and sometimes we were pulled by the big boat. The big boat went zooming across the sea. The waves splashed all over the biscuit. The little boat didn't go as fast as the big boat.

My favourite place is Wanaka. In Wanaka my favourite place is Puzzle World. I went with my nice, kind, fun Step Mum and my amazing grandmother. You will never, ever guess what I did in Puzzle World. I went in a crazy room. It was a room where you got smaller and bigger. My grandma got small and I got big. I like Wanaka. It is so fun.

IT WAS DARK - By Brooke
It was a scary night because some nightmares woke me up. I got to bed late that night and I woke up early in the morning. It was my birthday. When I went to bed that night something scared me plain silly. It was the nightmares again because they came back. My nightmare is a scary monster coming into my room and hopping into my bed.
IT WAS DARK! - By Sam
It was dark when I woke up on my birthday. I went into my mum and dad's room and I saw big and small presents. It was still dark outside but I didn't feel scared. I felt happy when I opened my presents. I was excited when I opened the big one. When I saw it I was so excited. i wanted to build it straight away, but Mum said no. I could build my Ben Ten. That made me feel better.
FIREWORKS - By Rachael
Outside in the scary dark my Dad put some fireworks on. My heart went boom, boom! It was colourful, green, yellow and purple. I went inside. I watched TV. It was Alice in Wonderland. After that, I went to sleep. I had a dream. It was a good dream. In the morning I woke up early. It was dark.
CROMWELL - By Wil
In Cromwell I got a ride in an orange Lamborghini. I went by myself. It took one minute and 10 seconds to get around the track. The person who owned the building was Matt. I had to put a helmet on. I chased a rabbit around the track. It was surprising to see a rabbit. I had fun. My nana was waiting for me at the end. I wish for another go!
COOL PLACE - By Liam
Guess where my favourite place is... my bedroom. My bedroom has a bunk bed. It only has one bed, a desk and a cupboard. I get my amazing book and read, read, and read. My book is named, Shot Boom Score. I have read 119 pages. My book has 176 pages.
